West Farm Surgery: Salaried/Partner GP

Location: Longbenton, North Tyneside

Sessions Available: Minimum of 5


We are a long-established practice serving a diverse patient population of approximately 6,000 in Longbenton, North Tyneside, and we are seeking a skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join our supportive team, either as a Salaried GP or Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly, dynamic practice with a strong focus on teamwork, innovation, and quality patient care.

Your Role

  • Minimum of 5 sessions per week

  • Flexibility in working hours

  • Engage in comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention

  • Collaborate with an experienced team of healthcare professionals

  • Participate in practice development, including audits and policy improvements

  • Low home visiting requirement

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care for a wide range of health conditions

  • Conduct routine health check-ups, screenings, and preventive care

  • Collaborate with the practice team and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records

  • Contribute to practice policies, participate in audits, and attend clinical meetings

  • Develop and promote continuous professional improvement


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • GMC registration with a valid license to practice

  • Vocational Training in General Practice (VTS) or equivalent qualification

  • Full driving licence

  • Strong clinical skills and ability to manage various health conditions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Commitment to high standards of patient care and service improvement
